Summer Restrictions 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beaches and Harbors will not approve filming or parking on weekends at County owned\/operated beaches nor at property located in the City of Marina del Rey, during the summer season beginning Saturday, May 28th through Sunday, September 11th.\u00a0 This also includes Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day weekends.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dual permit required with the City of Manhattan Beach.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manhattan Beach has over 2 miles of ocean frontage and 115 acres of beautiful sandy beach. A 900-foot long pier, located at the end of Manhattan Beach Blvd, bisects the area. Fishing is permitted all year on the pier. Other activities include swimming, and surfing. The north end of the beach, referred to as El Porto, is an extremely popular surf spot where you can even take lessons. There are also plenty of volleyball nets that extend all the way to Hermosa Beach. The AVP Manhattan Beach Open is held every year in the summer, which also brings out a big crowd.<\/p>\n
