This location is in an area that is mixed jurisdiction containing State, County, Los Angeles City and private land.

Access is gated and locked.  Entry from Mulholland to the north may require a permit with both Conservancy and State Parks Entry from Casale Rd. to the south requires dual permit with State Parks (Casale Rd. is narrow and portions are not maintained, companies need to scout prior to arrival and truck sizes should be limited to stake beds or smaller).

Murphy’s Ranch is primarily a City park property, surrounded by State Park land, but requires a dual permit with the State for crossing their land.
