Summer Restrictions 2022

Beaches and Harbors will not approve filming or parking on weekends at County owned/operated beaches nor at property located in the City of Marina del Rey, during the summer season beginning Saturday, May 28th through Sunday, September 11th.  This also includes Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day weekends. 

This beach has over a mile of ocean frontage and 21.5 acres of property. This is one of the most popular surfing spots in the area but the waves here break over cobblestones and reef so this is not an ideal swimming spot.

Still photography or small film shoots with hand held equipment will be allowed. Groups no larger than 15 total.

All equipment must be walked down to the beach

No vehicles or other equipment on turf, unless otherwise approved by DBH
