Summer Restrictions 2022

Beaches and Harbors will not approve filming or parking on weekends at County owned/operated beaches nor at property located in the City of Marina del Rey, during the summer season beginning Saturday, May 28th through Sunday, September 11th.  This also includes Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day weekends. 

This beach is not as busy with crowds as its neighboring beaches in Malibu and Santa Monica, but it does get its fair share in the summer. It has over 3 miles of beach frontage and about 103 acres of beach.

This area is the southern-most section of beach.

Volleyball courts nearby.

Bike path (controlled by LA County Public Works).

No filming, blocking or parking on access ramps or storm drains.

No vehicles or other equipment on turf, unless otherwise approved by DBH.

This section is only for tower 17-18, Parking Lot 1.
