Summer Restrictions 2023

Beaches and Harbors will not approve filming or parking on weekends at County owned/operated beaches nor at property located in the City of Marina del Rey, during the summer season beginning Saturday, May 27th through Sunday, September 10th.  This also includes Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day weekends. 

This beach closes at 4:30PM. Filming after 4:30PM will be considered case-by-case by Beaches and Harbors.

• The beach is subject to being under water at high tide.
• Filming on the bluff is approved on a case-by-case basis. The bluff is unstable due to erosion and slides.
• Walkthrough with Lifeguard and proposal required for all activities.
